These creative templates are perfect when students research Christmas customs around the world. You might assign each student an individual country or put students into partners or small groups and give them several countries to research.
After researching Christmas customs in the given country/ countries (a list of possible websites is included), here are some ways you might use this activity in your classroom:
1. The student writes a paragraph about the country’s customs.
2. The student lists interesting Christmas customs of the country.
3. The student writes a poem based on research of the country’s customs.
4. The student writes from the point of view of a child in the given country and tells about his/her customs.
The possibilities are endless! It could be easily adapted for various grade levels depending upon your requirements and method of research.
When finished, students could illustrate a custom in the box at the bottom.
