Each student can be assigned a special day in December to read their favorite Christmas story! I ask them to bring in a special surprise (can be a small treat or item) that is related to their story. They put these in each student's stocking. By the end of this activity, the students will have heard several Christmas stories and their stockings are full of fun goodies!

Copy the ornament page on different colored card stock. Students cut them out. I make a large Christmas tree out of green butcher paper. As the students bring their ornament back, I have them tape it to the tree. It's so pretty when we are all done!
