Pages 3-16 Sort objects into their categories. Each Christmas tree should have a green and a yellow present. Pass out all of the Christmas trees to your students so each student has the same amount of trees. Place the presents in pile face down in the middle of the table. Each player takes turn picking a present, naming the item and deciding who has the category. The player who finds all of the presents for his trees first is the winner.
You can also play this game in reverse. Pass out the presents to your students and place the Christmas trees in the center of the table. Each player takes turns picking a tree and students look through their presents to see who has objects that belong to that category. The first player who runs out of presents first, is the winner.
