Christmas Cookies on the iPad! Decorate a digital Christmas cookie on a free iPad® mobile digital device app and complete differentiated math and writing activities.
Easily integrate this free iPad app into your December plans! Students will use the included direction sheets to "cook" and "decorate" a digital cookie on the app then complete the related activities. You can also make QR codes linking to image, print and attach to the included cookie-themed mini iPads for fun gifts or a hallway display. This print it and pass out plan is ready-made for half-days, substitute teachers or center work and aligns to Common Core standards in 1st-3rd grade.
Packet includes 7 student activity sheets including:
★ Step-by-step checklist guide to “baking” and decorating a gingerbread cookie using the free app Christmas Cookie Maker.
★ 2 related math activities for making a tally chart and picture graph of decorations chosen on the cookie.
★ 1 sequencing activity with QR code for student to check their work.
★ A graphic organizer and hallway-ready writing paper to plan and write a How-To paragraph.
★ 4 Cookie-themed mini iPads for sharing student virtual cookies.
You will need the free app Christmas Cookie Maker. A QR code for the App Store® online store listing is included. You will also need a QR reader.
