Waiting for Christmas is the hardest thing to do for our little learners, especially with the sales in the stores starting earlier and earlier each year.
Here's a little activity to help them count the day's to Santa's visit.
Provided in both black and white and color are all the pieces necessary to make a countdown chain from December 1st to 25th. I have also included a little poem to send home with the completed chain, to show parents what to do. (Sorry! You don't see the whole poem in the preview...that would spoil the surprise, but trust me, it's cute!)
Assembly is easy and promotes fine motor cutting skills for your students. I have labeled each link in the chain with a number, which is a concrete illustration of how many days are left.
Like you, I value the time I spend with my students and have looked to Teachers Pay Teachers for amazing products to enrich my classroom. I am thankful to those who share the link to my TPT store with their colleagues. If you plan to share this product, please purchase a multiple license. Otherwise, your license permits you to use this with your student, in your classroom. Please do not post this product for download anywhere on the Internet.
