I created this little gift jar for my students to give to his or her family. As a school we are encouraging students and families to get outside for fun and exercise. So I thought, why don’t I make a set of 52 cards of outside activity ideas that each family can do once a week, and each student can decorate a jar to keep the cards in. I then expanded it to include a set of 52 family dinner conversation starters, and even a set of 52 random acts of kindness. It was such a fun product to create! I provide blank cards and labels if you want to make your own class version. And it lasts and lasts!
How can I use this product?
You can use this product as a quick and meaningful holiday gift idea. You set it up as a whole class activity, or as stations that they move through to create the final product: cut out the cards, write additional cards, decorate the jar, assemble all the pieces, and then wrap the jar. There are three sets so you have three different gifts for three different occasions.
