This POWER-POINT lesson features a traditional Swedish song and dance which focuses on the concept of introducing new rhythm pattern "ta-a" (half note). Activities included in this lesson include a picture icon beat tapping chart, a picture icon rhythm notation tapping chart, reading the song from the staff in various ways, as well as dance directions. Also included is a suggested website for extension/enrichment activities to learn more about Swedish Christmas traditions.
