Description

This listing includes 48 picture visuals that can be used during the Christmas holidays for children with autism. It also includes first and then boards, change boards and blank visual schedules for the visuals to be placed on. Christmas can often be a challenging time for students with ASD due to the change in their daily routine and introduction of new or unfamiliar experiences. Having a visual schedule can help these children as it allows them to see what activities are coming next. First and then boards are also helpful when asking children to complete one or two adult directed tasks (take a family photo, eat dinner) before the child can select an activity they want to do (play on iPad, play with toys). The visuals included should allow you to create a basic schedule for Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
