A fun winter writing activity that has students secretly create their own snowman and write a matching description of their snowman. Then, the classes snowmen are placed on display while students read their descriptions. If they use enough good details, the class should be able to figure out which snowman was theirs, just based on the description!
A kid-friendly rubric is included that gives examples of what a poor snowman description looks like, as well as what a more detailed and interesting snowman description looks like.
