Race Around the North Pole
Directions: Each player uses a different color of counters (or maker). Take turns to roll the dice and move. When you land on a space answer the equation and find the answer on a circle in the center of the board. Cover the circle with a counter (or color it in with a marker). If you land on a lucky present, cover a circle of your choice. The first player to make a line of four of their counters is the winner.
Race to the Snowman
Directions: Players take turns to roll the die. The player then finds that number die on the gameboard and answers the first equation on the path to the snowman. If they answer correctly they cover the space with a counter (or color it in with a marker). Continue taking turns, answering the equations and covering the spaces. The first player to reach a snowman by covering the last space on the path is the winner.
Race to the North Pole
Directions: Players place their playing piece on start. Player 1 rolls the die and moves his/her piece that many spaces. The player then solves the equation. If correct, he/she may stay. If incorrect, he/she must return to the previous square. Then it is the next player’s turn. Players may choose which path to take to the North Pole, but beware, as one path is filled with more dangers! The first player to make it exactly to the North Pole (finish square) and correctly solve the equation is the winner.
