Students can create their own “ELF” identity with this fun Christmas/Winter activity!
Simply copy the two month and date name pages for your students. Students use the month they were born to discover their
“ELFIE” first name and the date they were born will be their “ELFIE” last name. Once students have determined their name, they can create an information page about themselves as an elf and draw themselves as an elf. Students should include adjectives, descriptive language to make their Elf History more interesting. Two different writing templates are included. Students complete the activity by adding details to their elfie “selfie.” Copy one iPhone elfie Selfie page for each student. There are six varieties to choose from! There is also one without an elf template for your artistic students who want to draw on their own. Students create the elf version of themselves based on their name! For instance, if they are Forest FrostyBoots they can draw trees on their clothing or in the background along with a pair of boots in the background. The Elfie Selfies and Information Sheets are quite funny when they are finished and they make for a great seasonal bulletin board.
