Do your students love Santa as much as mine do?
Use this open ended Santa themed game with 2 to 4 students for reinforcement during drill/practice of skills like sight word drill, math facts drill, articulation drill, fluency drill, answering questions and other tasks that your students need motivation to complete.
Each child gets a Santa card showing how Santa needs to be dressed and what items he is missing. It’s Christmas Eve and Santa has to deliver the presents to all of the good girls and boys! He can’t go half dressed!
All clothing and accessory cards are placed facedown or in a bag or box (placing them in a Santa hat or sack would also be lots of fun)!
Students should be allowed to take turns picking an clothing card after performing X numbers of skills/drills. If students turn over an item they need for their Santa, they get to keep it. If they turn over a card with an item they do NOT need, they must put the card back. Watch out for wild cards! (Remove wild cards as needed to advance the game)
The first player who collects all of the items that their Santa needs, wins the game!
Also included is Santa Claus themed words by phoneme to use for articulation drill is desired.
Print, cut and play! Laminate for durability. Merry Christmas!
