Are many of your students convinced of their right answers without using all available text evidence? This game uses 3 clues to prompt students to make inferences about a Christmas or winter word or character. During the game, the teacher reads the clues aloud, pausing between each clue to allow think time. I deliberately created riddles that could have more than one answer...until the third and last clue is read. Students make a final inference and cover the answer if it is on their bingo cards. 24 pre-made bingo cards are included to print-and-play. Perfect for learning during the month of December!
Check out the preview to see examples. Students are often impatient and blurt out answers they are convinced are correct...but this game makes the point that it's always best to gather all available evidence before making a final inference.
The following items are included:
• 24 pre-made bingo cards, words & pictures (24 pages)
• 30 calling cards, each with 3 clues about a Christmas word (4 pages)
• Bingo in the Classroom ideas (1 page)
• TOU & Credits (1 page)
I’d appreciate your purchase, your rating, and your feedback.
