Product Description
This download includes 3 different Christmas activities that are designed to help your students practice making inferences, listening for details, and describing. Here’s a detailed look at the 3 activities.

1) Christmas Bingo- There are 5 different Bingo cards that each contain the same 24 Christmas pictures. I have included 2 different sets of calling cards. The first set (pages 7-9) contains three clues about each Christmas picture so that your students can practice making inferences. The second set (pages 10-12) contains only a picture so that your students can pick a calling card and describe the picture to the other players by giving clues.

2) Christmas Toy Inferences- In this activity, your students match letters to Santa with the toy each child should receive. There are 24 different letters to Santa (pages 12-18). Each letter describes a toy that the child would like to receive for Christmas. Your students listen to each letter and find the toy that matches the description using the toy cards on pages 19-21. I have included templates so that your students can write their own letters to Santa. There are 2 different levels of templates. Students can choose one of the toy cards on pages 19-21 to describe or they can choose a toy out of a catalog.

3) Christmas Stocking Inferences- In this activity, students match descriptions to pictures of stockings. There are 15 different stockings included. On pages 22-24, there are descriptions about each of the stockings. You can read these descriptions to your students and have them find the matching stocking on the picture mats. There are different stocking mats so that you can adjust the difficulty of the activity. The first 3 mats contain just 5 stockings per page. The second 3 mats contain 10 stockings per page. The last mat contains all 15 stockings. There are stocking cards on pages 36-37. You can cut apart these cards and let your students choose one stocking to describe. I have included templates so that your students can write their stocking descriptions. There are 2 different levels of templates.

The graphics credits are included on the last page of this document.
