There are 48 cards with a variety of Christmas items/characters written on them. There is also a blank sheet for you to fill out your own cards.
You can use the cards in a variety of ways. My favorite ways to use them is for inferencing with the students. Students have to figure out what is on their card without looking at it. You can do this as teams giving hints to their partner with the card, students walking around with the card and individually figuring out who they are, or pictionary style.
You could also go beyond using them as a game, and put them into your writing center. "Write in your journal as though you are the character or item on the card. What would you see? What would you be doing? What would you feel?"
This is one of my students favorite activities, and really makes them think hard about what clues to give or questions to ask.
