Here's a fun and seasonal way to practice the skill of inferring! This resource is a combination of a PowerPoint and printables activity. Students will be introduced to the Brown Family. Somehow the elves got their Christmas Wish Lists all mixed-up and doesn't know whose list is whose. Your students are needed to fix the Christmas Mix-Up!
To begin the lesson, I've included a printable for students to practice with an activity similar to the PowerPoint, just to get them prepared for the main lesson. Then students will be given two printables. The first is a recording sheet. The second is a list of the Brown Family's likes and dislikes. When the PowerPoint is displayed, students will see each Christmas list and have to decide whose list it is, while comparing it to the likes and dislikes of each family member. Your students will also be given the answers at the end if you'd like them to self-correct.
This is a super fun activity to practice inferring that your students will never forget!
