Reading, coloring, counting and a little writing. Lots of learning!
This Math Center activity involves reading and coloring according to a short text, then counting , cutting and pasting ornaments onto a Christmas tree.
There is a tree for each number 0-10, and a sheet of ornament pictures. Print individual numbers or the whole set.
Students cut and paste pictures into the appropriate tree
The text is short and repetitive. I've used color and number words.
Sometimes, I've stipulated colors, some pages students can choose which they like.
The tree sheets can be assembled as a counting book; pasted into notebooks or used a personal number chart!
I use these as a Math Center Activity, but it can easily be a whole class activity.

Sets of cards with blocks, fingers, pictures, words etc, and having more than one set allows students to play matching games.
