Christmas Literacy & Math Activities for Little Learners - No Prep/Low Prep Fun!
The Christmas activities in this download will provide lots of learning fun during this busy holiday season.

Page 1: Cover
Pages 2 & 3: Spin & Spot Christmas Words- Partners take turns spinning a spinner and coloring the word that they land on. The player with the most circles filled in at the end of the game wins.
Pages 4 & 5: Four & Score- Partners take turns rolling a die and connecting dots to form boxes around the holiday words. The player that closes the most boxes at the end of the game wins.
Page 6: "Cheat Sheet" for Four & Score to remind children of the rules of the game.
Page 7: Roll & Trace- The student will choose a holiday word, read it, roll a die, and trace the word using a color code.
Page 8: Christmas Color-A-Word- Partners take turns rolling a die and following the given directions to color a word. The player with the most words colored in at the end of the game wins.
Page 9: Writing Sheet- The student will choose a character on the page and write a story about him/her.
Page 10: Roll & Color Math- Partners will take turns rolling a die and will color the number on the game sheet that matches the die. The player with the most numbers colored in wins.
Page 11: Roll, Add, & Color Math- Partners will take turns rolling 2 dice, add, and color the sum on the game sheet. The player with the most numbers colored in wins.
Pages 12-15: Roll, Read, and Write- The student will roll a die and read the holiday word above the picture of the die with the matching number. The student will then write the word neatly in that column. Play continues until a column is filled.
Page 16: Matching Sums & Differences- The student will find the value on each gift box and color the matching values the same color.
Page 17: Nouns & Verbs: The student will read the words on the gift boxes and then color the nouns red and the verbs green.
Page 18: Antonyms & Synonyms- The student will read each word pair on the reindeer and color the antonyms green and the synonyms red.
Page 19: Rolling and Writing Silly Sentences- The student will roll a die three times and write the phrases that match to form a complete sentence. Play continues until six sentences have been formed. The student will record the sentences on a recording sheet and illustrate two of the sentences. (A variety of recording sheets are included on pages 20-24.)
Page 25: Christmas Bingo Cut and Paste- Each student creates his/her own BINGO card by cutting out the words provided and pasting them in random order on their BINGO card. (Note: You can simply have the students write the words on the card instead of pasting them if you prefer.)
Page 26: BINGO Calling Cards- Cut out the calling cards and place them in a plastic bag. Pull one word at a time, read it, and have the students mark their cards with BINGO chips or coins. Continue until a player has filled in 5 spaces in a row.
Pages 27-29: BINGO Flashcards/Calling Cards- These may be used instead of the smaller calling cards on page 26.
