Description
PLEASE NOTE: This item is also sold as part of my Christmas Writing Mega Bundle at a discounted rate.
Your students will LOVE this holiday activity! A student will write a postcard from one "character" to another from the character’s point of view.
You can use these in so many ways in your classroom. They can be used as creative writing lessons, center activities, etc. However, you might add various requirements to incorporate other parts of the curriculum as well. Ideas might be using vocabulary or spelling words, comma rules, similes, metaphors, idioms, alliteration, four types of sentences, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Students will enjoy designing the stamps, making up the addresses, and adding extra decoration as well. The finished products make a fun holiday bulletin board display as well!
There are 25 postcards included. Each one has a "reply" postcard to provide for the option of students working in cooperative pairs. Featured "characters" include: Santa, Elves, Rudolph, Prancer, Toy Soldier, Gingerbread Men, Christmas Trees, Penguin, Polar Bear, and Snowmen.
Please view the thumbnails to see the postcard style. Enjoy!
