Christmas Math Actvity {A Project Based Learning Activity}

Need a little added engagement during this Christmas season? My kids always LOVE planning our their fictitious Christmas shopping. This activity allows your students to shop for 6 or more family members using sale ads and coupons to maximize their budgets.

This is the perfect activity for fifth or six grade students to practice basic computation of decimals, calculate percentages, and problem solve how to make the most of their budget. I've also included two versions of the planner to allow you to differentiate or use in lower grade levels.
