These Christmas themed math centers fit perfectly into photo storage boxes for wonderful grab and go centers. There are 10 centers that work on a variety of math skills so that you can pick and choose to differentiate to meet the needs of your students. These centers are hands on and interactive. Each center comes in full color and ink saving black and white.
What is included:
Christmas Lights Count and Clip: Count the lights (up to 20) on the trees and clip the correct answer. Clip cards are great for developing fine motor skills.
Counting Ornaments Ten Frames: Count the ornaments on the wreaths and correctly fill in a ten frame with numbers up to 10.
Reindeer Shapes: Match the reindeer shapes to the correct shape name. This can be played like memory or go fish also.
Gingerbread Doubles plus 1: Use the ten frames and mini erasers to help solve the doubles +1 problems. As an extension, they can match the cards that show the commutative property.
Loads of Gifts Comparing Numbers: Count the gifts in the cart. Then decide whether the statement is true or false. Helps students practice using the symbols less than, greater than, and equal to.
Santa Subtraction: Subtraction under ten. Students can use the ten frames with mini erasers or dry erase markers to model and solve for the difference.
Stockings Count and Clip Using Tally Marks: Count the stockings, then clip the correct number. The numbers are written as tally marks.
Merry Measurement: Use the gumdrop rulers to measure each holiday object or character. (Working on using nonstandard forms of measurement)

Workshop Windows Counting: Count the number of windows in Santa's workshop. Then write the number in the box with a dry erase marker.

Counting Candy Canes Clip Cards: Count the candy canes and clip the correct answer. This center works on counting up to 10.
