Need a fun Christmas Math Craft activity to get your students working on Place Value during the month of December? This Place Value Gingerbread House craft is an easy way to have students review the different forms of a number, even or odd and much more. It would be perfect to display as a Christmas or Holiday bulletin board in December or to have first or second grade students working on it during morning work, math centers or as an early finisher activity!

Included are several different options to differentiate this math craft:

  • Different Number Options- Included are options for 2 digit, 3 digit and 4 digit numbers. This is a great way to differentiate this math craft to fit your students' needs.
  • Different Gingerbread House Options- There are two different gingerbread house options. First, students can complete the house using the four different forms of a number, even or odd and more and less. There is another gingerbread house option where students will create a number with different candies as their base 10 blocks!

There are different options for you to be able to choose what best fits your students! Both will be fun for students!

Included:

  • 2 Different Gingerbread House Place Value craft options
  • Place Value worksheet for students to spin a spinner to come up with their number and complete write their answers.

The best part? Your students will have fun making a gingerbread house during the Holiday season while they are reviewing place value! Also this math craft is LOW PREP so you can just PRINT AND GO!
