Merry Christmas! Looking for some math printables to help your students review their skills before winter break? Try this unit which contains ten Christmas-themed math printables. Although best suited for 2nd grade, each printable comes with three versions to accommodate differentiation in the classroom. Each printable is labeled with the Common Core State Standard it covers. In this unit, you will find:
“Christmas Word Problems” - Students are to solve each Christmas-themed word problem.
“Color the Light Bulbs” -Students are color the light bulb that contains the correct answer for each question.
“Odd & Even Christmas Candies” - Students are to color all the candies with odd numbers red and all the candies with even numbers green then record the number of odd and even numbers in each bag.
“Unwrap the Presents!” - Each present contains the standard form of a number. Below each present, students are to write the letter of the toy that contains the correct written form of the number.
“Comparing Candy Canes” - Students are to use >, <, or = to compare two numbers.
“Ornament Order” - Students are to order numbers from least to greatest.
“Which Toy is Left?” - Students are to answer the questions then color the corresponding toys to find out which toy was left behind.
“Wrong Address!” - Students are to use the instructions in each speech bubble to correct each address and rewrite.
“Elf Time!” - Students are to answer the elapsed time questions to find out how long it took each elf to make a toy.
“Let’s Buy Some Presents!” - Students are to add up the dollar bills and coins to find the price of each toy and record on the price tags, then answer the questions.

2.OA.1 - Use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve one- and two-step word problems.
2.OA.2 - Fluently add and subtract within 20.
2.OA.3 - Determine whether a group of objects has an odd or even number of members.
2.NBT.3 - Read and write numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
2.NBT.4 - Compare two numbers.
2.NBT.5 - Fluently add and subtract within 100.
2.NBT.8 - Mentally add 10 to a given number.
2.MD.7 - Tell and write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes, using a.m. and p.m.
2.MD.8 - Solve word problems involving dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies.
