Christmas Mystery Pictures: Letters and CVC Words

This set includes 2 sets of fun Christmas themed mystery pictures to help your students practice identifying the beginning sound of words and reading CVC words. There are 6 mystery pictures in each set (they are the same pictures in each) with 12 clue cards for each picture.

In the beginning sound set of pictures, students identify the beginning sound of the picture. The CVC set has 36 pictures (the words are used 2 times throughout the 6 mystery pictures).

The boxes are slightly larger than normal to help your little learners develop their fine motor skills as well. This is a great activity for your literacy centers, fast finishers, as a fun time filler, or for students who need a little more practice.
