This Origami Santa is loved by every student who makes it. The body is made by folding paper in an "origami" style. Then the rest of the pieces are on black lined masters for you to print out on designated colors of construction paper. Your students glue the face, mittens, boots, arms, etc. on as the picture shows.
The body forms a pocket that can be used to surprise your students with a treat, eraser, pencil, etc. You can put a different item in for as many days as your wish. The Origami Santa can be taped to the student's desk, hung up on a bulletin board, or placed somewhere else in the classroom. It is so fun to see your student's faces when they come each day to see what surprise is in the pocket of their Origami Santa. Lots of fun for the season.
This is another fun art project by Classy Bitz.
