Use the excitement of the Christmas season to review the parts of speech, write a holiday poem, and create a parent gift all in this one festive activity set! Students will begin with a review of nouns, verbs, adjectives, and prepositional phrases in a class group scoot games using a Christmas theme!

Next, students will create a poem using a “part of speech” formula focusing on a given set of specific Christmas word collections. A rubric emphasizing Common Core standards is included to make assessing student writing easy! Finally, students can publish their poems and create special, personalized Christmas presents for their parents!
