It's the MOST wonderful time of the year! I hope your students enjoy these Christmas tracing pages! Even young students can try their hand at creating Christmas-themed pictures by simply tracing the lines. They'll be having fun while working on their fine motor skills. Each page also has students trace the word the picture represents.
Use to decorate the classroom, an activity for a class party, as an early-finisher activity, or any way you see fit to get into the Christmas spirit! You can even leave as an activity with the substitute teacher.
The 8 Christmas-themed tracing pages included are:
1) Christmas tree
3) candy cane
6) gingerbread man
Here are some fun ways to fill in the pictures after tracing the lines:
*Color with crayons, markers, or paints—adding additional decorations and details to the traced pictures.
*Glue on small pieces of colored tissue paper.
*Tear up different colored pieces of paper from catalogs, magazines, or construction paper and glue them on the picture(s) to make a mosaic art piece.
*Dazzle and sparkle the pictures with glitter or glitter glue—try red glitter on the reindeer's nose!
*Take some glue and sprinkle a tiny bit of cinnamon on the gingerbread man picture for a nice aroma.
*Glue cotton balls on or around the snowman picture to represent snow.
