It's beginning to look a lot like...Christmas cookies! This cute craftivity is sure to motivate students to ask and answer questions about the story! Have students read or listen to a story. Next, have them draw or write the answers to the question words in the blank spaces on the cookie tray. Or, you can have students create their own questions from the story for a partner to answer. I tell my students that they have to be able to find the answer in the text. Then, have students color and cut out the cookies. Last, arrange them on the cookie sheet to cover your answers. Place a small amount of glue at the top of each cookie and glue them onto the tray. You will then be able to lift the cookie to reveal their answers underneath!
