A mixture of Christmas and science come together in this activity that is based on the principle that wax paper repels water drops. Colorful water-drop Christmas trees that will inspire creativity can be made using eyedroppers or pipets. The activity is a great practice of hand-eye coordination for younger students. The tree template is provided and directions to make the project are completely described. The dried tree can actually be trimmed and be put into student notebooks.
