Use these sheets to help students practice subitizing and array identification of objects. Subitizing is the ability to instantly and accurately recognize groups of objects between one and three items. Array identification refers to the mental counting of objects and can be assessed with arrays containing four to seven objects. These sheets should be flashed in front of a student for less than 1 second, and the student should be able to recognize the amount of objects.
