A fun way to reinforce counting tens and ones
This game is designed for two students.
Each child takes 10 Unifix cubes, buttons, paper squares, etc. of one color. His/her partner should have a different color. The first child takes a card, counts the tens and ones then puts a cube or marker on that number. If another player’s marker is on that picture BUMP it off. If your marker is on that picture, link the cubes together and it freezes that spot. The winner is the player that uses all of his/her markers first!
Print on cardstock and laminate. Each game has 24 cards. If the game is not over after the 24 cards have been played, then reshuffle the cards. Continue until a player is out of markers.
