Students should be thankful for that hard work to make the Christmas season magical! This resource has a reflective journal write, and a chance to share out loud, or in writing, their favorite moment from the holiday season. You can extend this by having students present this to the class, volunteer a few students, or just have them write and share it with you if you/they like.
Then students will select at least one thank you card template. There is a template for family, friends, principal, or a teacher who made the holiday season feel special for them. its a great way of introducing gratitude, or saying thank you to people that took time to make your classroom special!
Students also reflect on the purpose of the activity and grow through this experience of practicing a great life skill.
