This is a series of Christmas themed stations can be used to enhance your morning work, math/ engineering centers, afternoon stations, or used for early finishers.
In the first station students will match the number printed on a gingerbread house to a number printed on a gingerbread. Following the number recognition, students will use gumdrops or dots to count out the number printed on the cards and place them on the house to add decorations. Materials needed for this station are the cards included and gumdrops or dots candy.
In the second station students will use pattern blocks to design a series of Christmas themed structures from Santa and his sleigh to snowflakes and snowmen. Materials needed for this station are the cards included and pattern blocks.
In the third station students will use 3 materials (clothes pins, craft sticks, and blocks) to engineer a bridge for a gingerbread man to cross.
In the fourth station students will use mainly Play Doh and craft sticks to engineer a Christmas tree. Additional materials may be provided to allow students to decorate their engineered trees.
The fifth station involved students using Solo cups to build a Christmas tree shape.
