This research project explores the various Christmas traditions in the U.S.A. Students scan QR Codes, read about a tradition, and take notes. When they are finished, they have a booklet filled with research facts!
Students will learn about the history of the candy cane, sending Christmas cards, the Christmas pickle, history of Christmas colors,history of the Christmas tree, and the history of giving Christmas presents.
Also included in the booklet are three reflective questions for students to connect with their reading.
Prints on (4) sheets of paper, front and back. When folded, it makes a 13 page booklet plus the front and back covers! The booklet contains the QR codes and pages for note taking.
This resource also includes an informative/explanatory writing prompt with a planning/brainstorming sheet and stationery paper for the rough draft and final copy.
