Help Wanted! Elves are needed to decorate Santa's Christmas trees this year in speech therapy. Encourage your elves to sort six ornaments onto each of the twelve trees. Included categories: Space, farm animals, buildings, community helpers, beach, food, sea animals, shoes, dinosaurs, technology, sports balls, school supplies.
Follow up by playing again but this time don't sort by categories, sort by attributes (things with 4 legs versus things with 2 legs), work on following directions, or identify an object based on a description! Next time answer a WH question to take a turn. The uses are endless!
Speech Therapy Targets: classification, categorization, following directions, attributes, describing.
