Glyphs tell about the person who made them! Glyph is short for hieroglyphics. It's art with information! Think of it as taking your art to a new level! Print the attached pages. Make enough copies of pages 2 and 3 so that each student will have the supplies they need. Students begin by cutting out the tree that they have colored, then embellishing according to the Legend. Students use markers or crayons, and sequins to complete their Christmas tree. When the glyph is complete it will tell about the student who made it! Anyone who reads the glyph will know how many letters are in their first name, whether Christmas is their favorite holiday or not and what their favorite holiday tradition is! Your students will LOVE it!
