A fun and festive way to work on number order, 1-10 or 11-20. The kids have fun learning and you have a great room decoration for the holidays!
Students cut out the triangle, and then cut the pieces of the Christmas tree apart. They then glue them back in order like a puzzle, paying special attention to the number and not just the size of the pieces. Add a brown rectangle and a yellow star, with presents underneath, and your number order tree is complete!
To extend the activity, there are several options: use stickers or die-cuts to glue the appropriate number of ornaments; write the number next to the model; write an addition sentence that equals that number; anything else you can think of!
