Description

This is a fantastic activity to help students practice counting syllables. There are 30 Christmas words for them to sort into 1, 2, 3, or 4 syllables. A student response form and answer key are both included.

There are 2 choices for the word cards. One with a white background (saves ink) and one with a colored background.

The pages can either be created as a file folder activity or stored in an envelope. Perfect for literacy centers or early finishers.

I recommend laminating for durability.

Please see the preview for exactly what you will receive in the file.

If you use the Common Core State Standards, there is a page outlining which standards this item works for. If you don't use the state standards I recommend ignoring this page :)
