This product is related to the Complete Six-Word Memoirs packet which includes activities for Back to School, Meet the Teacher, Grandparents' Day, end of the year, graduation, and more! They also make wonderful Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts.

Students can write "memoirs" on any topic in any subject area. They make excellent exit tickets and short essay answers on quizzes and tests.

But getting students to think deeply and write meaningful memoirs can be challenging. With the complete packet, you will teach six-word memoirs as if you have been doing it for years.

When revising an idea to just six words, students learn how to think deeply about a topic, how to summarize, and how to revise. Students also improve their vocabulary and word choice. Writing six-word memoirs is a great way for students to practice and internalize the steps in the writing process.
