Your kids are going to love this fun Christmas writing activity as they create their Santa. It can be used any time during the holiday season.
This "Silly Santa" Christmas writing activity allows students to be creative in an artsy way and in their writing, all while they are following written directions.
Students are given a blank Santa outline. They will follow the written directions to create their "Silly Santa”. Even though the kids are following directions and the Santa pictures will be similar, there will be many differences depending on the colors they choose.
After creating their Santa, students can use the writing paper to write about "Silly Santa" (Those should be fun and interesting stories!!!) Maybe they want to write about why Santa chose a new outfit or how the kids reacted to seeing Silly Santa, etc.
These will look so neat hanging on a bulletin board or out in the hallway.
