My absolute favorite part of the day is read aloud time... It's one of the few times that you can get all the students visualizing, dreaming, and visiting new and exciting places in their minds! It's such a delight to be the one to get them more interested in literature!
I've collected some of my favorite Christmas and December read aloud books and created many different, Common Core aligned activities for each! There are 11 books in all and enough learning fun to last you all month. There are at least 5 printables/activities for each book, and include interactive notebook foldables, comprehension activities, story element maps, craftivities and more.
Your students will practice skills such as:
Using Context Clues
Cause and Effect
Problem and Solution
Comparing and Contrasting
