A letter written by a Chilean boy about how he and his family celebrate Christmas in Chile. This product includes comprehension questions and an activity where students write a response about how they celebrate Christmas in their own country.
The letter and the activities are completely in Spanish making it ideal for Dual Immersion Classes.
This product would be best for students at the end of Spanish 1 (there is A LOT of vocabulary) or as a great revision activity for Spanish 2.
This can also be used for Native Spanish speakers in Grade 3 or higher.
Bonus Listening Activity
We have now included a page without exercises. This is can be used where the teacher gives the comprehension questions orally, or can be used in conjunction with the audio on our YouTube channel so they can read as they listen (without the distraction of other activities on the page).
There is another page, this time with certain words missing and replaced by a blank line where students can fill it with the word they hear on the listening.
Note: The audio of the listening only appears on our YouTube channel. The recording is spoken by a native Spanish speaker.
