- Students can talk about Christmas traditions in Latin America and Spain based on the research that they conducted.
- Students can write Christmas using vocabulary in Spanish that they learned in the lesson.
- Students can respond to simple questions based on visuals representing Christmas vocabulary.
- Students can ask and answer questions related to Christmas in Spain.
- Students can recognize Christmas vocabulary in Spanish when it is spoken.
- Students can understand basic information about Christmas in Spain and Latin America based on videos they have observed.
- Students can identify and understand basic Christmas vocabulary in Spanish.
Activity Summary
It begins with an image-text inference activity to learn Christmas vocabulary in Spanish. Then, the students will learn Christmas traditions from Spain with a presentation and authentic videos. Students talk about their own Christmas traditions and research some traditions from Latin America. Finally, they play 3 group games to practice the vocabulary orally.
