Christmas | Winter Math Game COVER-ALL ADDITION: Dice Game for Partners
This Christmas and Winter Cover-All Addition game is lots of fun for the little ones! In this math game, partners take turns rolling two dice and adding the numbers together. On his/her turn, the player will then cover that sum with a counting chip. The player who covers all the numbers on his/her board first, is the winner!
This product contains 15 game sheets for the winter and Christmas season. Graphics include Santa, cupcakes, snowmen, gifts, bells, holiday birds, children, Christmas trees, reindeer and penguins. These game sheets are great to use during the busy holiday season.
My kiddos are having so much fun with this game! It is definitely a class favorite!
· Laminate the game sheets for durability and use them for math stations.
· Print the game sheets on paper, use them in class, and send them home for extra practice.
· Instead of using counting chips, you may want to laminate them (or use plastic sheet protectors) and use dry erase markers to color in the sums.
· Leave them for a substitute teacher to use in your absence.
I use this with my first grade students, but you may find it to be useful in some Kindergarten or Grade 2 classrooms.
So... Grab some dice and have fun!
