These are two pages used to have students review common misconceptions or "non facts" about Columbus. Students write the true facts to contradict the non facts on the sheet.
Then students can cut out the telescope on the next page. I have the students draw a picture of Columbus's real landing inside. Then there are tabs you fold so the lens pops up from the rest of the telescope. You can glue the scope and nonfact/fact sheets on a large construction paper and have a nice display on what you have learned.
