Mini Unit on who the real Christopher Columbus was. Includes primary and secondary source activities from Columbus's diary and an article about his treatment of the natives. Also includes graphic organizers, a writing prompt and the essential question of was Christopher Columbus a hero or a villain?
My students loved this, it was interesting and good practice with primary sources.
This was designed for my 7th grade US history class, It could be used for middle school and high school.

*Note- this is not an elementary school lesson- Middle School and up!
