This is a summative assessment designed be to use with the text The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe written by C.S. Lewis. Learning targets are written in student friendly language and appear in front of each question. There is a rubric designed for each learning target at the end of the assessment. As a teacher I am huge fan of having students reflect after taking an assessment. After students have completed the assessment they are asked to write a brief reflection identifying how they think they did on the test, areas of strength, and weakness. Students are also asked to write how much time they spent studying. The reflection is important for students because it helps them see a correlation between the time spent studying and knowledge of content to the score they receive on the assessment.
