Description

Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes is a great story to teach students about being unique. It's a good read-aloud for the beginning of school or any other time of year.

This book companion is great for your students in grades 2 - 4 to practice several ELA skills at once.

This is not your ordinary book companion. Your students will discover a mystery word each time they complete a challenge. When they finish all the challenges, they must crack a final code word that will reveal the answer to a joke. This means they want to finish their work!

This set includes everything you need for a complete book study. The SIX activities are available in printable and digital formats. The digital format is ready to assign in Google and Seesaw.

Your students will be completely engaged as they build vocabulary and comprehension skills while working through this picture book challenge.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I used another of your digital story activities (Diary of a Worm) and we all did it together on the board and the kiddos FELL IN LOVE. They were SOOOO engaged and excited about the activities and begged me to find more. We are doing this story this week and I let them do it in partners. It worked out great and they had the best time! Thanks so much for making these. I promise I will be buying more!!!⭐
