I had a request for just the flower craft from my big Chrysanthemum
packet, so here it is.
If there are any other craft activities in the jumbo literacy packets
that anyone else would like to buy separately
, simply send me an e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
or leave a note in the QUESTION section on TpT and I’ll be happy to make a separate packet
and post it on TpT.
These single craft activities will be priced at $1.95 - $2.95 depending on the complexity of the craft, fonts and clip art that I used to create it.
I designed this Chrysanthemum
flower craftivity because it's excellent for fine motor skill
Children will be strengthening their finger muscles with the snipping & rolling
, as well as improving their dexterity and patience.
Be sure to run off extra patterns, as these are really quite simple
and fun, with truly awesome results
, that I think some of your students will want to make more than one.
Besides using them for a fun activity that children transition to after reading the story Chrysanthemum
, the flowers are wonderful for Mother’s Day
I’ve included extra leaf patterns for this: “A mum for my mum!” “A mum for my mom!”
plus a generic “A mum for my ____________”.
Make a sample of your own to decide which of the various flower options
are suitable for your students.
Even if you don’t do this as a whole group
activity, making a few in the various colors, then attaching them to your bulletin board
display of your students’ Chrysanthemum
or springtime work, will look terrific and add some awesome 3D pizzazz
I’m Diane from Teach With Me, hoping your students enjoy making a mum as much as I did designing them.
