Addition fluency is essential to later math skills, and always needs practice and review! To help my students practice in a fun way, I created these simple and low-prep games!
See this game in action on the blog!
100% Spanish, and suitable for dual language, dual immersion, bilingual, and native Spanish-speaking classrooms.
How it works:
Three game boards are included for each addend 2-9. One set of number cards is included, which works with ALL of the game boards, making it super easy to switch up the numbers students are working with. Students select a card, add the number indicated on their board, and find that mystery number on their game board. They cover or mark the number with dry erase marker, continuing until they get five in a row.
Aligned to CCSS for first and second grades; see the specific standards in the preview.
Especially relevant for first and second graders, but also great for review and/or differentiation at higher levels.
Printable game boards plus number cards, standards alignment, and notes to the teacher.
These game boards use black and white ink, plus one small color clip art image on each board. Don't have or don't want to use a color printer? Just print in black and white or gray scale.
